Being Unoffendable

Speaker: Pat Buttes | Category: Christian Living
Series: Topical

Being offended is a negative emotional response over another’s words or actions against us stemming from our pride being hurt. Pride comes from that place in our hearts that says that the universe (or, God) owes us something which neither the universe or God owes us anything. We also empower another to control our feelings. It is like giving them the keys of our car and watch them drive off with it.
